TrialNet Rituximab Trial

Updated May 10, 2007

If you have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes within the last 2 months, you may be eligible to take part in a new trial testing whether treatment with a drug called Rituximab can stop or delay the destruction of insulin-producing beta cells.  The trial is part of the Type 1 Diabetes TrialNet research program being conducted by doctors and scientists in the USA, Canada, Europe and UK and Australia. TrialNet research is funded by US government organizations and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
